Everyday dirt works its way into a rug’s pile. We collect your rug and bring it to our Milngavie rug spa for a thorough clean, from the dry dusting through to the final checks.
We check the fibres and dyes before choosing the wash: shallow-pool washing by our staff, automatic machine washing or hand washing for delicate pieces. After suitable dusting, washing, rinsing and drying, we check and pack your rug ready to come home.

Rug Cleaner Scotland provides specialist rug cleaning with free collection and delivery. From homes in Glasgow and Edinburgh to communities across Scotland, we bring your rugs to our Milngavie rug spa for a thorough clean before returning them to you.
Rug washing, stain treatment and care for delicate fibres
We inspect the fibres, dyes and condition of each rug before choosing a suitable cleaning method. Our workshop process includes dust removal, washing, rinsing, controlled drying and final checks. We clean wool and synthetic rugs, with individual assessment for delicate and specialist materials. Tell us about spills, pet accidents, odours or signs of moth activity so we can advise on suitable additional treatments.

Collection and delivery across your area

How long will you have my rug?
Our usual turnaround is 7–10 working days, from collection through cleaning to return.
Do you collect and deliver?
Yes. Free collection and delivery is included. Let us know your postcode when you enquire and we’ll arrange your collection.
What if my rug has stains or smells?
Tell us what happened and anything already used on the rug. We offer pet urine, stain and odour treatment alongside cleaning, with any extras shown in your quote.
How do I find out the price?
See our cleaning and treatment prices or use the quote assistant for an itemised total. Prices depend on material and width, with free collection and delivery included.
How do I measure my rug?
Measure the width and length without the fringe. We use the shorter side as the pricing width for a rectangular rug, or the diameter for a round rug.
Does a quote book my collection?
No. You can check the price without booking. When you’re ready, choose Arrange collection and submit your details here on the website. Our team will get in touch to agree the collection; your request does not reserve a time slot.
